Eyelet Stripe Hoodie

What can I say?  I am thrilled to introduce you to the Eyelet Stripe Hoodie and it is one of the best things I have ever made!  And designed!  This hoodie has already been worn so many times!  It is a new favorite in my wardrobe, and I hope you love it too!  

I was looking for the perfect hoodie to wear all summer long. I was originally inspired by the dress I am wearing in this photo, picturing myself wearing it with a cute hoodie on an evening walk on the beach on a cool summer evening.  I didn’t have anything to match, so I figured: why not design one myself? It mimics the loose and cropped fit of one of my favorite sweatshirts. By mimicking that fit, it is bound to be a loose and comfy staple!

I decided to design this hoodie in a Pima cotton blend, Comfy Worsted by KnitPicks.com.  It's so soft and true to its name, Comfy!  Once I received the yarn in the mail, I knew this would be ideal for the hoodie.  

The design came more naturally than I can say!  It was a quick and easy vision that I was ready to immediately bring to life.  I put so many other projects on hold to make sure I could make my ideas into reality.  I was so pleased with how my sample came out, and my testers knocked this design out of the park!  There were plenty of hiccups and bumps along the way, but none that weren't met with a better understanding of how to make this hoodie the best it could be.
